There are portals developed around Affiliate Marketing that have been around since the beginning infancy stages of Internet marketing. As soon as companies decided to begin selling products online, and marketing e-commerce through Internet Marketing campaigns, affiliate programs began. LinkShare and Commission Junction were a couple of the two from the 90’s.
Affiliate Marketing Programs and Affiliate Opportunities have enabled millions of marketers to become entrepreneurs. Many have made $millions, and spent just about as much funding our friends who sell keyword advertising.
Affiliate Marketers, do not forget to include the following in your campaigns, as they are instrumental to your success. You need them all to achieve a cpc, cost per click, cost per sale, or cost per anything that will make you profitable, in Internet marketing, affiliate marketing, and selling Internet products through e-commerce sites.
1. Keyword Analysis specific to your individual keywords that have been tested and optimized. Slow down, look at what key words are working and run those keywords to market your affiliate products.
2. Trust your optimization of your keyword campaign. If the words are not working, do not buy them.
3. Optimize creative elements of your affiliate marketing campaign. If an affiliate has put them online, to allow all affiliates to use them, test them with caution. They could be overused.
4. Apply the optimized creative internet advertising campaign elements throughout your affiliate marketing campaign. If the keywords and creative elements are working, use them until they are dead.
5. Use article marketing for your affiliate programs. Do not buy into the idea that everyone can send traffic to a sales page on the internet and be profitable. That may work for a short time. It will not stand the test of time in Internet marketing campaigns. Write the articles, do the work for your affiliate campaign, and it will pay off.
6. Use sales pages to briefly, and that is the key- be brief, explain why the consumer should buy your product. Then move them to the sales page to close the sale.
7. Use Blogs and Websites to market multiple affiliate products, but be sure to stay within one vertical market for each website. Cross promote the site and blog and use the site to move Internet consumers directly to your affiliate program sales pages.
8. Promote your blogs and websites like you have been promoting your affiliate sales pages, but do not build a site around one affiliate product or an affiliate product that has not proven profitable.
9. Know what you are selling and who you are selling to. Period.
10. Find at least 20 Affiliate Programs to sell. Once you test and master a few affiliate program Internet marketing campaigns, put them on auto-pilot and move on to the next group. Don’t try to do all 20 at once.
